LVM — добавить новый диск
1. Создаём на диске новый раздел
sudo fdisk /dev/sdb
- Device contains neither a valid DOS partition table, nor Sun, SGI or OSF disklabel
- Building a new DOS disklabel with disk identifier 0xe8bae10a.
- Changes will remain in memory only, until you decide to write them.
- After that, of course, the previous content won't be recoverable.
- Warning: invalid flag 0x0000 of partition table 4 will be corrected by w(rite)
- switch off the mode (command 'c') and change display units to
- WARNING: DOS-compatible mode is deprecated. It's strongly recommended to
- sectors (command 'u').

3. Создаём LVM раздел с именем «repository»
sudo vgcreate repository_vg /dev/sdb1

4. Создаём логический раздел на этой группе томов (хотя он тут один)
sudo lvcreate --name repository_lv --size 19G repository_vg

5. Создаём файловую систему на новом разделе
sudo mkfs.ext4 /dev/repository_vg/repository_lv

6. Создаём каталог для монтирования
sudo mkdir /repository
7. Монтируем
sudo mount /dev/repository_vg/repository_lv /repository
Проверяем:
sudo mount

- proc on /proc type proc (rw)
- sysfs on /sys type sysfs (rw)

8. Редактируем /etc/fstab
sudo nano /etc/fstab
Добавляем строку:
/dev/repository_vg/repository_lv /repository ext4 defaults 0 0
9. Перезапускаем машину
sudo reboot
После перезагрузки – проверяем:
df -h /repository/
- Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
- /dev/mapper/repository-repository
- 19G 44M 18G 1% /repository
